چکیده

Abstract Background Breast cancer is one of the most frequently diagnosed cancers among women worldwide. Alterations in tumor microenvironment (TME) have been increasingly recognized as key development and progression breast recent years. To deeply comprehend gene expression profiling TME identify immunological targets, well determine relationship between different prognoses highly critical. Methods The stromal/immune scores patients from Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) were employed to comprehensively evaluate TME. Then, characteristics assessed, overlapping genes top 3 Gene Ontology (GO) terms upregulated differentially expressed (DEGs) analyzed. Finally, through combined analyses overall survival, time-dependent receiver operating characteristic (ROC), protein-protein interaction (PPI) network, novel immune related with good prognosis screened validated both TCGA GEO database. Results Although did not correlate stages cancer, it was closely associated subtypes mutations (CDH1, TP53 PTEN), had characteristics. Based on GO functional enrichment analysis, high vs low score groups mainly involved T cell activation, external side plasma membrane, receptor ligand activity. DEGs exhibited better cancer; 15 them especially CD226 KLRC4-KLRK1. Conclusions High KLRC4-KLRK1 levels identified survival specific or cancer. CD226, other new targets seem be promising avenues for promoting antitumor targeted immunotherapy

A Mimic of the Tumor Microenvironment on GPR30 Gene Expression in Breast Cancer

Introduction: The G-protein coupled receptor 30 (GPR30) gene is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) family; involved in breast, endometrial, and ovarian cancers. Many GPCR receptors that are implicated in several types of human cancers are correlated with increased cell proliferation and tumor progression; especially GPR30 gene. Methods: The breast cancer MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cel...

Prognostic value of the immune microenvironment in lung adenocarcinoma

We analyzed the immune microenvironment in the neoplastic and stromal components of Stage I lung adenocarcinoma lesions, finding that a high ratio of tumor-infiltrating FOXP3+ regulatory T cells to CD3+ lymphocytes, an elevated expression of the interleukin-7 receptor, as well as a reduced expression of the interleukin-12 receptor β2 all constitute independent factors of poor prognosis.

Immune-cancer interactions in tumors and tumor-draining lymph nodes: Novel prognostic indicators for breast cancer

It is becoming clear that immune cells play many important but sometimes conflicting roles in cancer. Immune profile changes at sites of immune-cancer interactions, such as the tumor microenvironment and tumor-draining lymph nodes (TDLNs), may represent a sensitive predictor of local and distant tumor metastasis. However, standard pathologic analysis of tumor sections has remained at the visual...

Identification of Prognostic Genes in Her2-enriched Breast Cancer by Gene Co-Expression Net-work Analysis

Introduction: HER2-enriched subtype of breast cancer has a worse prognosis than luminal subtypes. Recently, the discovery of targeted therapies in other groups of breast cancer has increased patient survival. The aim of this study was to identify genes that affect the overall survival of this group of patients based on a systems biology approach. Methods: Gene expression data and clinical infor...
